In search of a northern Aesthetic

Exploration of the concept of Northern Aesthetic asking the question is there such a thing as a distinct northern aesthetic . One of the ideas put forward is that is not just the unique light of the north that shapes the easthetic vision of artists but more importantly the absence of light in the long dark months and what this does to the mind that creates the northern asethetic .
