摘要
The purpose of this review is to find out whether interventions utilising cultural heritage assets in rural communities is effective at improving mental health and wellbeing outcomes.
Objectives:
Describe the main characteristics of the studies
Describe the core components of the intervention (asset-based approach) using TIDieR (Template for Intervention Description and Replication) (https://www.equator-network.org/reporting-guidelines/tidier/)
Describe and assess key theories used to explain the relationship between assets and mental health and wellbeing underpinning the intervention
This data will be extracted and recorded in TIDieR checklists and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets under the following sheets and columns:
Study description: Author, Year, Title, Design, Main aim, Other aims, Hypothesises, Country, Rural setting, Sampling method, Sample characteristics, Eligibility, Sample size, Date of study, Interventions, Primary outcomes, Other Outcomes, Psychosocial instruments, Statistical analyses, Primary outcome Results, Other results, Discussion section summary of results, Discussion- Author interpretation of main findings, Conclusions- Authors
Theory Coding Scheme: proposed by Michie & Prestwick (2010) assesses use of theory by coding each article under six categories 1) Is theory/model mentioned? 2) Are the relevant theoretical constructs targeted? 3) Is theory used to select recipients or tailored interventions? 4) Are the relevant theoretical con-structs measured? 5) Is theory tested? 6) Is theory refined?
