Description of project aims
This project aims to determine the impact of habitat fragmentation, modification and habitat loss caused by forest operations on red squirrels and to improve monitoring techniques and mitigation measures for red squirrels. This project will lead to improved site management plans, forestry guidance notes and licensing.
