Research Expertise
I am interested in marine acoustic ecology and most of my work has been focused on the acoustic behaviour of marine mammals, from ice-breeding seals to baleen whales. In addition, I have a particular interest in assessing and understanding the impacts of anthropogenic noise on the marine environment. I am also excited by the development and application of new tools for the study of natural soundscapes and the assessment of biodiversity and species richness using passive acoustics.
