Résumé

There is an increasing interest in the use of the flipped classroom model. In a flipped classroom model, lectures are delivered at home through uploaded recorded video lessons either as video-captured classroom lecture or a narrated screencast, and activities where students answer questions related to the lectures are done in the classroom. The study adopted the use of questionnaires and student interviews in getting student perception about the flipped classroom model. Students have positive usability evaluation of the flipped classroom model. They found the model has improved the communication channels in the classroom and that it allowed them to pace their own learning. Issues with the current model and suggestions to improve it is also discussed.
