Edges: Written and Visual Reflections on Marginal Space and its Exploration

Rapid modernisation has involved drastic spatial transformation and the consequent appearance of ruinous sites on the fringe as well as in the centre of urban landscapes: aborted constructions amongst the high-rises; industrial derelicts; vacated or abandoned buildings left behind during periods of urban development and social changes; confiscated yards.
