Public talk for the project Nordic Connections: Learning from the past to shape the future. The talk included background to the artists Roxane Permar and Susan Timmins' experience of growing up during the Cold War in North America; introduction and overview of the project Nordic Connections; discussion about the work for Cold War Projects in Shetland, and other northern and Arctic communities.The Norwegian partners were represented by the researchers Mette Gåardvik, Karin Stoll and Wenche Sørmo who joined by video conference. They talked about the work they. had done in relation to their research interests in marine debris and the work they have done on this theme not only for Nordic Connections but also with young people in Norway and North America.
