Resumen
This was a contribution to a project involving 20 researchers - 10 artists and 10 IT scientists - who met over 20 months to discuss and respond to the meaning of remoteness and connectedness in the digital era. My online paper compared the psychological function of parallel universes, whether the Otherworld of Gaelic tradition or the virtual world of the internet. It was an attempt at demythologising myth and mythologising computers.
