Resumen
Ontario, Canada and Scotland have comparative educational systems. Each area is governed by a professional body of teachers, the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) in Ontario and the General Teaching Council of Scotland (GTCS) in Scotland. Over the past few years there has been a movement towards establishing STEM (Science Mathematics and Technology) expertise in both primary and secondary schools. In Scotland, digital awards and Microsoft flagship schools were established. In Ontario, David Suzuki schools were established. This chapter reviews how these new digital STEM learning environments are led.
