Cosan Cholm Cille

Producción científica: Digital or Visual Products

Resumen

Two images produced in collaboration with Gaelic poet and scholar Meg Bateman as a response to two of her poems. Published for Earagail Art Festival, Eire, in 2021.

Cosán Cholm Cille was an art and poetry walk featuring Scottish and Irish writers and artists to the top of Cnoc na Naomh. Along the way, patrons saw artwork and listened to poems and stories. The work was inspired by the folklore and mythology around Saint Colmcille. The walk was a great chance to engage with art and poetry in a relaxed outdoor setting with majestic views of the Donegal landscape, from the Derryveagh mountains around to Tory Island. Featured artwork was created by artists Seán Ó Flaithearta, Kim Sharkey, Derek Robertson and Norman Shaw, while newly-composed writing featured was written by Meg Bateman, Rody Gorman, Dairena Ní Chinnéide and Eoghan Mac Giolla Bhríde.
