Producción científicarevisión exhaustiva

Resumen

This chapter draws on details of language and ethnology to expand analysis of aspects of the culture and history of islands and to challenge stereotypes of islanders and islands. The study is predicated on the proposition that, from today's standpoint, the Gaelic language is at the root of perceived differences in cultural heritage in any study of Scotland's Hebrides and requires specialist attention and scrutiny.
