Layman's description
Funded by a Royal Society of Edinburgh Arts and Humanities Small Research Grant, this project explored the relationship between archaeological process and contemporary artistic practice in Orkney through the lens of the Heart of Neolithic Orkney World Heritage Site. Two successful seminar days consisting of lectures and facilitated discussions were held at Orkney College and the Pier Arts Centre, and included a wide spectrum of participants comprising visual artists, writers, curators, choreographers, and academics.
