Research Expertise

An sàs an-dràsta ann an rannsachadh air ath-bheòthachadh na Gàidhlig mar ghluasad shòisealta, agus anns a' cho-theacsa sin, air poileasaidh cànain aig a' mhion-ìre, ideòlas agus fèin-aithne, oideachas, agus teòraidh an eagarais. Roimhe, an sàs ann an rannsachadh air mion-bitheòlas agus air gintinneachd mhoileciuileach.

Researches the Scottish Gaelic revival as a social movement, and in that context, studies language policy at the micro level, ideology and identity, pedagogy, and organizational behaviour. Formerly researched microbiology and molecular genetics.
