Abstract
On a number of occasions, ideas of a programme in anthropology have been mooted within the university. The discipline promotes greater appreciation of human equality through thinking about how our diversity can be the expression of similar aspects of our humanity. We now have more provision that is closing in on this aim. This session is designed to appeal to anyone who would be interested in named provision in anthropology. It will share student feedback received on a Level 7 module grounded in anthropology and look to provide an avenue for discussion about other modules that could fit into such a programme. The session would suit module leaders of relevant modules and also lecturers who would be interested in teaching within this area of provision.
