Abstract
The aim of this review is to explore and better understand the provision and experiences of youth sexual wellbeing services for young people living in rural remote and island communities. Specifically, the research questions are:
• What type of sexual and reproductive health (SRH) service provision is available to young people in remote, rural and island communities?
• What are the barriers and facilitators to accessing support for sexual and reproductive health for young people in remote, rural and island communities?
• What are young people’s experiences and perceptions of school-based sex education in remote, rural and island communities?
• What type of sexual and reproductive health (SRH) service provision is available to young people in remote, rural and island communities?
• What are the barriers and facilitators to accessing support for sexual and reproductive health for young people in remote, rural and island communities?
