Abstract

The Annex IV initiative would like to introduce you to the 2016 State of the Science report. This is your opportunity to provide public comment before the report is made final.

Annex IV focuses on environmental effects of marine renewable energy development, primarily from waves and tides, under the Ocean Energy Systems (OES). OES is an international collaboration under the International Energy Agency in Paris, France. Under OES, countries are brought together to advance research, development, and demonstration of energy conversion technologies from all forms of ocean renewable resources. Annex IV is led by the US and involves thirteen nations, spanning five continents.
