Abstract
This title provide a reference resource for all levels, from undergraduates learning the concepts of research, to postgraduate students honing their skills and scholars and practitioners exploring cutting-edge developments and specialist techniques. Students and experienced researchers alike will be able to explore and engage at the level that is right for them.
Comprising 10 volumes, it aims to be the largest and most comprehensive research methods resource of its kind.
The 599 entries map diverse methodological approaches, research settings and major debates, definitions, applications, techniques, biographies and events. These include 145 'foundation' essays (10,000 words) on key topics, 144 biographical entries on 'pioneers' in the field, 220 further specialised entries, and a final group of entries covering research in a particular subdiscipline.
Entries are arranged A-Z for ease of navigation, but the Readers Guide feature provides a tool for readers to navigate entries thematically, in terms of topic or type of entry, should they wish.
