Abstract

Researchers involved in the field of electronics product development are considering using natural evolutionary methods, to develop electronic circuits. The are considering the mechanism that allowed nature to develop the biological brain and utilize it in developing electronic circuits. Electronics engineers have used the approach, to design artificial versions of evolution, called Evolutionary Algorithm. The evolutionary methods helps engineers in generating large number of chromosomes representing electronic circuits. Each chromosome is the component values of a single circuit and the starting point of an Evolutionary Algorithm is a number of these chromosomes that are filled with random component values. Each of the random chromosome is tested, to evaluate its performance and comparing it with the performance of the electronic circuit.
