Abstract

This policy brief provides an update to the brief produced by the United Nations University Institute for Water, Environment and Health (UNU-INWEH) and the Scottish Association for Marine Science (SAMS) in 2016. It is based on recommendations from GlobalSeaweedSTAR programme, an international collaboration between institutions, primarily in the UK, the Philippines, Malaysia and Tanzania, and its associated workshops (2017 and 2021).
