Abstract

1. A novel method, based on Delphi, develops a tool for monitoring
sustainable upland estate management This is based upon collaborative
work between a range of land management professionals, researchers and
policy-makers.
2. The work challenged participants to develop shared ideas and solutions
for tackling sustainable management.
3. There is considerable scope for this method to be used in other situations
where building consensus around sustainable resource management
practices is problematic.
