    Abstract

    This exhibition was the first joint artistic activity of the University of the Arctic's thematic network Arctic Sustainable Arts and Design. The purpose of the exhibition was to start a dialogue around the nature of sustainable arts and design education in norther and arctic regions. The exhibition was held to coincide with the World Alliance for Arts Education (WAAE) Global Summit. The exhibition was international in scope with exhibitors from Canada, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Russia, Scotland and the Unites States.
