Abstract
This web disseminates and archives outputs produced by the collaboration with artist Susan Timmins, Cold War Projects, which investigates and chronicles memories of everyday experience of people in Shetland and northern and Arctic communities during the Cold War period. Through socially engaged art, exhibitions, publishing, public engagement and this web site, the project galvanises an exchange of memories and perceptions of the period and the on-going nuclear threat that characterised the Cold War but which has relevance today in relation to the various on-going threats we face, such as cyberterrorism, climate change and the coronavirus pandemic.
