Abstract

Background - Harbour Porpoises (Phocoena phocoena) are under-reported in Shetland. Historical ad-hoc reports of large mega-pods of porpoise aggregations but no consistent systematic surveying.
Objective - Identify spatial/temporal variability and use of coastal areas to inform conservation and management efforts
