Abstract

Anna C Frater/Anne C Frater is a Gaelic poet and scriptwriter. She was brought up in the village of Upper Bayble on the Isle of Lewis, in a home and a community where Gaelic was the main language. Her poetry has been published in various anthologies, as well as in two collections, Fon t-Slige (Gairm, 1995) and Cridhe Creige (Acair 2017).
In this video piece the author talks about the conditions that led to this work, and recites the work.
