Description of project aims

Founded in 2003, Wild Things! is an award-winning environmental education charity based in Findhorn (Scotland) which provides wilderness, nature-based and outdoor learning experiences for all ages. This project produced a rapid evaluation of their Silver Saplings: Wild and Well Programme. The Programme is an intergenerational health and wellbeing initiative that aims to improve the health and wellbeing of communities in north east Scotland. The evaluation considered questionnaire and interview data. The evaluation demonstrated that the Programme was successful in meeting it objectives and in contributing to the promotion of health and wellbeing.
