    Description of project aims

As part of ongoing work for the Shetland Islands' Marine Spatial Plan a coastal character assessment has been created for Shetland. This project has been running parallel to the work collecting data on where people use and value around Shetland's coastline, how often they visit the coast, what they like to do there and any problems that stops them using the coast.
