Description
Specific types of T-cells are able to recognise portions of proteins displayed by melanoma cells, which illicits an immune response, leading to the destruction of tumour cells. Identification of the T-cells and the peptides they recognise increases our understanding of what types of features lead to an effective immune response capable of clearing tumours.
