Description of project aims
Exhibition of commissioned prints by 12 artists on the theme of artist’s responses to record covers.
Co-exhibitors include Vicki Bennett, Andrew Cranston, Duncan Marquiss, Chris Orr.
Publication includes an exclusive limited-edition vinyl LP by Vicki Bennett /aka People Like Us - audio/visual artist, first ever artist-in-residence at BBC radio archives (www.peoplelikeus.org). Includes commissioned limited edition original prints, t-shirts, badges. Plus an evening of live collaborative performances, sound collage workshop, record swap event, and record fair. Touring to 5 national and international venues. Curated by Norman Shaw, Sarah-Manning Cordwell, and Eddie Summerton.
