Project Details
Description of project aims
This collaborative project investigates the valorisation of aquaculture and fisheries waste to support a more circular and sustainable food system. The research explores innovative pathways to convert waste streams into valuable resources, reducing waste disposal while creating products that could decrease reliance on synthetic and mined fertilisers. The project integrates resource recovery, waste valorisation and sustainable nutrient management across the aquaculture and agricultural sectors.
