Drug screen to identify therapeutic targets for acral lentiginous melanoma

Project Details

Description of project aims

This project involves the large scale drug screen for therapeutic targets for acral lentiginous melanoma, a rare subtype of melanoma that occurs on the soles of the feet/palms of the hands/under finger nails. Currently there are no effective therapeutic strategies for this subtype of melanoma. This screening and follow-up project is therefore aiming to identify vulnerabilities and associated targets for acral melanoma.
