Personal profile

Research Interests

Originally from Australia, I have been working in the outdoor sector in Scotland since 2008. In my early years in Australia I spent time bushwalking and generally being outdoors, walking a number of long-distance walking routes. Since being in Scotland I worked primarily in a residential outdoor centre that delivered a mixture of instructor training, residential programmes, expeditions and ski holidays. My role was involved in both the management and leadership of the centre, alongside the practical delivery of the varied instructional programme.

Recently I studied at UHI West Highland and am now both lecturing and instructing on the range of programmes within SOAS.
