I have a background in Mathematical Physics which I apply to dynamical fluid systems.
I have studied a diverse suite of problems on a range of scales, from describing the swimming of bacteria in viscoelastic fluids to calculating the stream function for the North Atlantic circulation.
My PhD project used a combination of numerical modelling and glider-based observations to study the hydrodynamics and heat transport in Arctic fjords.
My current job is concerned with the large-scale North Atlantic circulation and its role in climate.
