Research Interests

Highly experienced forensic practitioner in the fields of forensic bio-archaeology,including human remains recovery, botanical analysis, environmental trace evidence gathering and stomach contents analysis. My portfolio includes over 700 cases encompassing the entire UK, of which many have been tested under Crown or Scots jurisprudence. I am an accredited expert witness with the NCA and Academic Lead for the Forensic Expert Panel of the CIfA. I was a CRFP registered forensic practitioner in Archaeology when the scheme was active. My research interests include extending the applicability of stomach contents analysis as a tool for criminal investigation
