Research Expertise

Following the completion of my Ph.D at the University of Liverpool in human T-lymphocyte immunology, I continued to work as a postdoctoral researcher for a further 10 years, initially in neonatal immunology, before moving into projects investigating malignancies such as human B-lymphocyte leukaemias and prostate cancer.

Since joining the University of the Highlands and Islands as laboratory manager I have actively participated in a number of research projects and co-supervised a PhD student to completion. My role is to oversee the running of the research laboratories in the Division of Biomedical Sciences and run the Technical Team.
