Personal profile

Research Interests

I am primarily interested in marine top predator, cetaceans and seabirds, usage of tidal-stream environments and potential interactions with renewable energy devices. My Master's project investigated, with the use of acoustic data, fine-scale Harbour Porpoise (Phocoena phocoena) functional use and activity within a tidal-stream demonstration zone. My PhD project used unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to investigate top predator distribution and behaviour within tidal-stream environments.
