A physical oceanographer interested in turbulence and mixing induced by tidal interaction with topography:

I produce fine-resolution numerical hydrodynamic HPC applications such as non-hydrostatic (MITgcm), unstructured (FVCOM) and weather (WRF) models and run operationally regional weather and ocean hydrodynamic 5-days forecasts based on a high resolution West Scotland Coastal Ocean Modelling System (WeStCOMS).
