I am a planetary scientist with a background in physics and RF engineering. I have extensive experience in numerical simulation, computational physics and data analysis. During my research career, I have been involved in several diverse and inter-disciplinary projects, which have included both international and industrial collaborations. I have also been responsible for creating and delivering lectures, tutorials, and supervising students. I am a dedicated, methodical individual, capable of meeting tight deadlines while having a passion for both teaching and research.
My research interests include:
• Plasma dynamics within planetary magnetospheres
• Characterisation of auroral acceleration regions
• Application of electromagnetic theory
• Investigation of high power microwave sources
• Application of high efficiency techniques to vacuum electronic devices
• Numerical modelling and data analysis techniques
• High performance computing
