Organization profile
The Centre for Island Creativity supports research, post-graduate taught learning and knowledge exchange across the wide diaspora of the highlands and islands of Scotland.
A core value is the recognition that remote locations where creative practitioners and thinkers choose to have their studio or production base are each a centre of research and graduate learning. Through the university's innovative use of Video Conferencing and IT our base in Shetland UHI brings together a wide network of academic partners and mentors working in the creative and cultural industries.
