The director of Thurso’s Environmental Research Institute has taken on a new role as part of a United Nations initiative.

Professor Stuart Gibb says it is “humbling” to have joined the leadership council to the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), aimed at finding science-based solutions for sustainable development.
