Description

At midsummer, The Adventure Show heads to Torridon in the north west of Scotland for one of the world’s most extreme events: the Celtman.

And extreme Is the word – starting at 5am with a three-kilometre open-water swim, competitors then leap onto their bikes to pedal the next 200 kilometres. The finale is a 42-kilometre run, with an ascent of one of Scotland’s Munros thrown in for good measure. It has been described as one of the toughest days of your life and for most just finishing is a major achievement.
