Description

Founder member and research group convenor Between Places, UHI Visual Arts Research Group with an interest in landscape, place and identity. UHI Members are based in a range of locations across the Highlands and Islands: Moray, Highland, Orkney and Shetland. The group is also comprised of academics from the University of Dundee and the University of the West of Scotland. Between Places is especially interested in interdisciplinary approaches to the visual arts in and of the Highlands and Islands and the group is represented by academics from the following fields: visual art practice, critical theory, curatorial practice, art history and social anthropology.
