Description
This event sets out to be the first ever Coastal History conference and the most ambitious event of this type ever to have taken place in Dornoch. It will explore the pasts of communities living along adjacent, or nearly adjacent, coastlines. It will take place from Thursday 31 March to Saturday 2 April 2016, will focus on, for example, firths, sea lochs, fjords, inlets, estuaries and bays. It has attarcted considerable media attention. On 2 February 2016, my BBC interview for Radio Scotland was broadcast in regular news bulletins, while the following day, my BBC Alba interview for the An Là news programme was broadcast.Period | 31 Mar 2016 → 2 Apr 2016 |
