2003 EMBS meeting, Portugal.Artificial reefs are increasingly being utilised to increase coastal productivity through the provision of additional habitat. Different species have different habitat requirements. The goal of this research is to model where habitat bottlenecks may be occurring in artificial reefs thus promoting the concept of 'designer reefs' for species of particular commercial interest.
