Description
Busy seas and changing worlds (workshop)Drawing on the TRANSECTS project, this workshop will discuss sites of future, speculative and hypothetical worlds relating to marine energy transitions and renewable energy. Central to these arguments will be the active tensions between permanence and ephemerality, past and present, real and imagined land and seascapes. Through playful and creative group activities, we will use an imagined offshore windfarm to the south of Plymouth to start conversations around the themes of industrial realities, decarbonisation, community benefit, and the diverse and divergent voices in these debates.
