A public lecture on the Orkney folklorist, journalist and writer Ernest Marwick (1915-1977). Ragnhild presented his work as a folklorist, while James Irvine and Ray Fereday presented his life and works. "Ernest W. Marwick, born a century ago, collected a vast amount of Orkney local history and folklore, and through his writing and broadcasting enriched a generation. Historians James M. Irvine, Ray Fereday and Ragnhild Ljosland describe a life that contributed so much to Orkney’s heritage."
