Abstract

Under en vecka hösten 2019 genomfördes en arkeologisk forskningsundersökning inom fornlämning Västerås 431:1/L2002:241, Anundshögsområdet. Undersökningen var ett samarbetsprojekt mellan fyra personer representerande fyra olika institutioner:
Stiftelsen Jamtli, Arkeologikonsult (AK), Arkeologerna (Statens historiska museer, SHMM) och Institute for Northern Studies vid University of the Highlands and Islands i Perth (Skottland). Personal från Stiftelsen Kulturmiljövård (KM) deltog även i vissa moment (metalldetektering och förmedling). Undersökningen var den tredje på platsen inom forskningsprojektet ”Ting- och kultplats vid Anundshög”.

During one week in autumn 2019, an archaeological research survey was carried out within ancient remains Västerås 431:1/L2002:241, Anundshögsområdet. The survey was a collaborative project between four people representing four different institutions:
The Jamtli Foundation, Archaeology Consultant (AK), The Archeologists (State Historical Museums,
SHMM) and the Institute for Northern Studies at the University of the Highlands and Islands in Perth (Scotland). Staff from the Kulturmiljövård Foundation (KM) also participated in some moments (metal detection and mediation). The investigation was the third at the site within the research project "Things and cult site at Anundshög".
