This research project will investigate the practice of ultra-running as a participatory activity which crosses a range of disciplines including geography, tourism, and sociology.

Our aim for the project is to investigate ultra-running practices from a multi-disciplinary perspective, within the broad subject areas of geography, tourism, and sociology.
