Organisation profile
Part of the Institute of Health Research and Innovation, the Division of Biomedical Science is based at An Lòchran and the Life Sciences Innovation Centre on Inverness Campus. We conduct extensive research, most notably in genetics, proteomics, cancer, schizophrenia and medical nanotechnology.
Led by Associate Professor Antonia Pritchard, the Division collaborates with academic institutions, healthcare providers and business globally. The goal of the Division of Biomedical Science is to undertake world class, globally impactful research in the Highlands.
We also undertake a range of contract research to support commercial entities of any size.
